So much more than “just a food court”, after a multi-million dollar renovation, The Westchester has opened Savor which is a collection of upscale restaurant quality dining options in an elevated food hall like setting.

Erin and I had an opportunity to meet the owners and try the variety of food options now available at Savor – which offers something for everyone.

Bluestone Lane “dedicated to producing the highest quality coffee and complementary foods, delivered in an engaging way. Focused on creating environments where customers are immersed in the experience and leave feeling like a local. Bluestone Lane Coffee is influenced from the renowned coffee culture hub of Melbourne Australia, where premium coffee is a way of life.”

Mighty Quinn’s Barbeque “is familiar and still unlike any barbecue you have ever had.  They cook their barbecue the old school way with plenty of wood and time, adding just the right amount of salt and spice to let that lovely marriage of process and product evolve into something transcendent.”

Whitmans New York “serves burgers and seasonal fare with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. Opened by native New Yorkers, the concept was born by friends whose vision was to provide the neighborhood with delicious comfort food in a cozy, intimate setting. The main attraction, modeled after the Minneapolis-originated phenomenon, the “Juicy Lucy,” features two thin beef short rib blend patties pinched together encasing a scoop of pimento cheese, the result: a molten core of cheese oozing from the patty. Whitmans introduced their take on the cult burger in 2010 to rave reviews. In addition, Whitmans offers a vast array of specialty crafted burgers including The Hound, Spicy Patty, and The Mangold just to name a few.”
