Lil Chameleon: Opening Oct 2017 in Tuckahoe

(Sponsored Post)

Are you staring at an overflowing closet, filled to the brim with great kid’s stuff, just a size too small for your lil one?  Or is your garage filled with nearly-new toys and gear that look straight out of the box?

CC Benitez faced these first world problems after having her son a few years ago.  She was desperate to clear out her “graveyard of the outgrown”, but she quickly became frustrated with the process selling online, through social media, through resale shops and consigning.

She knew there had to be a better way, a way that was fair and transparent, a way that paid today and didn’t mean running to the post office or all over town.

Introducing Lil Chameleon:

The cool kid’s resale boutique, a cool cafe, and even cooler happenings.

As a premiere kid’s resale boutique, Lil Chameleon buys, sells and trades both new and nearly-new clothes, toys, books and gear. By offering the highest payout around and a transparent 30% cash or 50% in-store credit based on the resale price, you’ll know what you’re making.

So here’s the hypothetical math…

You bring in a girl’s dress. Lil Chameleon wants to buy it and will price it for resale at $10.  You get 30% of that in cash ($3) or 50% in boutique trade ($5) valid for 6 months.  You get an itemized receipt with a product list, their retail price, and both your cash and trade value.  You choose how you want to get paid.

And If there are items Lil Chameleon can’t buy, you choose to take your goods home again or you can even donate them. Lil Chameleon is working with The Sharing Shelf, part of Family Services of Westchester and The YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester amongst others to facilitate your donation which help others in the Westchester community.

And by providing an area to enjoy healthy, locally sourced snacks in the self-serve, cashless cafe, families can take a break.  Lil Chameleon sells organic when possible and helps support other local small businesses by selling their yummy snacks and treats. Looking for additional enrichment for your lil one or even yourself?  Lil Chameleon offers classes ranging from Intro to Spanish through Music to Printing with Recycled Materials, from Expectant and New Moms Circle to Make Your Own Gourd Instrument.  Membership packages offer special discounts, class variety and even a concierge service with online buying appointments including free pick up.

Wait, you need to throw a birthday party, too?  Lil Chameleon offers both DIY space rental, party ad-ons, a signature COLOR party or custom party packages.

Founded by a nearly 20-year veteran of the fashion industry, a mom, and a Brooklyn transplant, Lil Chameleon’s mission is to help mom with life’s lil things. Now there really is a way you can do it all.
