I wish that I had written all of these posts. On my mental list of “topics” are things that these local bloggers have written about recently so I’m showing them some love and dedicating a post this month to share their work with you.
The first is about JFK’s TWA hotel. I went there in August with my kids before a 7am flight out of JFK. Loved it, took great pics and then, never wrote about it. Sheri Silver did and it’s so well done, that I am going to cross it off my list and consider it done.

The second article is written by one of my favorite travel bloggers, fifi and hop. Anytime I travel to a city, I consult this site for tips. This summer I was in San Diego and while I’ve been there a handful of times and know a lot of the good spots, I followed up on her suggestion to visit the La Jolla tide pools and cove with my family. Truly one of the highlights of our trip. So simple, yet so fun. On my list of places to visit sometime soon is Madison, CT and sure enough, she just posted about it.

The final post is about Trader Joe’s Beauty Products. I’ve used a bunch of their products over the years and wondered how they compare to things you’d find in department stores or even regular pharmacies. Glam by Shey writes about lots of products that she tries and always gives honest reviews.
